This review is well deserved! Ethan and Logan arrived to fix and straighten a fence that needed a lot of care, a portion of it was falling over, the gate wouldn’t open or shut, and makeshift braces were attached to various places. Ethan was an excellent communicator, provided a clear explanation of the process, and clarified all the concerns that arose. Ethan’s assurances were proven. A professional and picture-perfect job!

Rocky Mountain Fence was great all around to work with. Garrett came out and put together a nice detailed estimate quickly for my project, he was very friendly and easy to work with. Once their team got started on my project they knocked it right out in a couple days just like they said they would and were on time and schedule. Had the pleasure of meeting Logan and Jaime who installed our new double gate and they were both friendly and professional. Both of them did a fantastic job with the install and took all the steps to make sure the job looked clean and was done right. I’ve been wanting to upgrade/move/fix our side gate and fence for a while and glad I finally did and chose this company. The removable center post design they like to use is so nice, and very sturdy, reliable and operates smoothly. I couldn’t be happier with the work Rocky Mountain Fence performed. I highly recommend them for any work needed and will definitely tell friends in the area. Thanks!

My wife and I selected Rocky Mountain Fence to replace an old wooden fence that was showing its age. We have some expectations of the contractors who do work for us:
1. Is their price reasonable?
2. Are they responsive in providing a detailed quote? Are all the costs listed?
3. Once selected, was the scheduled installation within reason?
4. Was their crew trained and did they act professional?
5. Did they use quality products and material?
6. Was there work and craftmanship guaranteed?
7. Once completed was the invoice timely, accurate, detailed and correct?
The answer to all these questions was Yes.
Would I use them again or refer my friends and family?
Absolutely.
Mark and his team, despite some difficult weather, completed the project on time and on budget.
Thanks RMF.

Rocky Mountain Fence Of Idaho came out and gave us a bid for our fence replacement and for our three adjacent neighbors who were splitting the cost. The bid was broken down to show what each of us would have to pay and it was done in a timely manner.
We had gotten three bids, and they were the ones who left the best impression and were competitively priced. They just completed the job and it was done very professionally, they were fast and efficient. We hardly knew they were out there working. All of us think the fence looks great.

Super professional. The three-man team shored up our cedar fence, which had three broken posts due to rot and wind. They drove the super-long metal posts very deep into the ground and fastened our aging fence to them. These posts will be there long after time ravishes the rest of the fence into dust.

I met RMF of Idaho through a home show. They were very friendly and helpful throughout the process. I had a shared fence replaced along with a gate. It turned out very nice. The gentleman who helped with the phone estimate was great. The gentleman who did the in person estimate was nice to have answered questions even in the evening when I would have thought it would be answered the next day. Lastly, the crew of Jaylyn, Edisson, Paul, and Bryan did a skillful job of putting up the fence and gate! Now, my neighbor is interested in having them replace a fence section for her.

From customer service to craftsmanship - Rocky Mountain Fence is exceptional! Ethan and Logan took down our old fence (old cemented posts and all) and made sure the new fence was perfectly straight, worked well with the neighbors’, and the gates hit all the angles, swinging smoothly. And then Brook followed up, making sure we were happy - a real craftsman - with an outcome that exceeded our expectations!

I wanted a local company and not some corporate chain so I called Rocky Mountain Fence. I am beyond happy with the quality and workmanship of my new fence! The entire crew were so hard-working! Mark was able to come out to give me a price that same day. He gave me my options rather than making the decision for me, and answered all of my questions which is important when choosing to hire out work at your home. I felt a sense of comfort in choosing to go with them, and what a great decision that was. All of the crew were very skilled so that nothing was overlooked as far as workmanship and detail. Metal posts with cedar that was pre-stained a Chestnut color, constructed in a shadow box style. It looks amazing!

They showed up when they said they would, kept us updated, and had the whole job done in just two days. On top of that, they cleaned everything up and even did extra work that they didn’t have to do—which meant a lot to us.

You can tell Ethan and his crew really take pride in what they do. My husband and I are super, super satisfied and honestly couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

We are very happy with our new fence. They removed and disposed of our old fence at a reasonable cost. We chose to have them pre stain the wood using their method of completely dipping all the wood for full coverage, well worth the cost. Best quality materals and methods. They don't subcontract the labor, RMF employees show up to do the work. They arranged for me to get some matching stain to do the fence on the other side of the house without having to try to find a compatable match. There can be several weeks wait during peak season. Cost is not the cheapest quote you will get but they checked all the boxes for me to pay more for quality.

I told them I'd leave a 6 star review, and I would if I could.

Long story short, I had a beehive next to the fence line that I couldn't move. They went out of their way to accommodate my situation, going so far as to find a bee suit they could use while working next to the hive.

The fence is straight, they didn't make a mess of my yard, even though it rained while they were working. (I've heard nightmares from other companies.)

All in all it was a great experience and I highly recommend them. They're well worth what you pay them.Jaylyn, Cohen and Brook did a wonderful job.

Nothing but good things to say about RMF of Idaho! Jim is super easy to talk to, punctual, and organized. Not only was their price amazing, but they were willing to take a smaller job when most other fencing companies would not. The gate they installed for us is far superior to the other wrought iron gates on our property. Josh and his guys had good communication, arrived on time, and did an excellent job on the install. They made sure our gate was installed exactly how we wanted it prior to install. I would not hesitate to use RMF in the future.

Mark Harila and the balance of his crew have always been outstanding in their work effort and quality of product delivered. Albeit vinyl or cedar, they are prompt, fair and also responsive to give the best advice for your project and deliver the best results.
I highly recommend this company for all of your fencing needs.

I had a portion of my fence replaced in August and the whole experience was great. The quality of the fence and gate was very high. Unfortunately, with the wet weather the new fence swole to the point the gate was very difficult to open and close. Yesterday I emailed Mark about it and he had a whole crew out today and it is already fixed up and good as new. I’d give six stars if I could.

Great experience start to finish. Every person I talked to was professional, easy to work with, and obviously skilled at their particular pieces of the process. Rare to find a company like this in any business these days. 10/10 recommend.

We are in an area of Star that used to be a river once upon a time. As a result, the dirt is rife with river rock and makes digging of any sort exceedingly time-consuming and nerve-wracking. I can honestly say Rocky Mountain Fence's guys were challenged but they still did a great job and fulfilled their promise of a good product. They still dug down the two feet (6in past what the other companies promise). I'm a pretty picky person when it comes to people doing what they say they are going to do. They finished the posts along a 60ft line, and as I looked down the line, they were perfectly in-line and vertical. It was awesome. RMF of idaho really, truly did an outstanding job and we are very happy with the results. To top it off, their price is one of the most reasonable you will find, especially for the quality.

Mark and his crew made quick work of my gates and flag pole base! Some fence companies won’t take the time to just do gates. Mark came over to check the job and found I had two different fence styles and bid the job so they would match each side. Other companies quoted me over the phone and would not have caught this. That and being as much as $1000.00 cheaper made it a clear choice. Gates turned out perfect!

Extremely please with Rocky mountain! The quality of material, the workers, the contacts, and everything in-between was flawless. We had a tough project that not only was a pain in the butt, but took a lot of extra time. We had sooooo many rocks they had to plow through to get the post set. They got it done seamlessly. I would recommend them Over and over. 2 of my neighbors also got theirs done at the same time and were extremely happy as well! You can't beat the quality and workmanship for the price.

Words pale in an attempt to show how pleased our family was with having Rocky Mountain Fence tear down, install, and get the new fence up and built. From the first moment of getting the quote to the end of the construction, it was a phenomenal customer experience for us. The entire crew and leadership were professional, cordial, and fun to engage with. I have already recommended Rocky Mountain Fence to multiple friends and colleagues at work, and the job was finished two days ago. Many thanks to Rocky Mountain Fence for the great work done. - Jason G.

Rocky Mountain Fence of Idaho gave me what I felt was a fair quote, they showed up as scheduled and did outstanding work in completing the requested addition of two gates in my existing fence. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

I had to call them when our trampoline took flight during a wind storm & crashed into my neighbors fence. Mark came out right away to take a look. He was very knowledgeable, professional & overall a really nice guy. I got the quote the same day & it was reasonably priced. My neighbor was very satisfied with the job & impressed with how quick it was repaired. Mark even fixed his side gate that needed a little adjustment for free! Really great company to work with & I would highly recommend.

I highly recommend Rocky Mountain Fence & Construction without any hesitation at all! We had two projects a few years apart – the first was a large ornamental iron fence for our newly build home – 1.5 acres, so it was somewhat of a large project. We had researched this project extensively and after meeting with several different companies we went with Rocky Mountain Fence & Construction. Competitive pricing but even more important to us was the interpersonal interaction with the company. Extremely nice, polite, knowledgeable and went out of their way to make sure all questions were answered the project was exactly as we wanted (I think they might characterize us as “needy” customers to some degree but my wife and I never felt that way at all). The project was started and finished on time despite some weather issues and turned out absolutely beautiful!

Because of our excellent experience with the company, we again went with them to add a fence around our newly built inground pool. Another seamless experience! The company truly went above and beyond to make sure we had all of the information and an appropriate safety barrier for the pool for our kids and dogs making sure we met all guidelines from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (we again went with a 6-foot ornamental iron with an added lower barrier for our small dogs).

You won’t be disappointed with Rocky Mountain Fence & Construction. I highly recommend this company and will certainly use them for our next project!
